Be A Superhero

I am not talking about “I am going to save the world and every one in it” kind of Superhero. I am talking about a ” I believe in myself and the power within me to achieve my goals” kind of Superhero.

This type of power begins and ends in how you frame the thoughts in your mind. Positive thoughts prove to bring about more positive results. You can not get a positive outcome with a negative mindset.

It is important to remember that negative thoughts are at their weakest when they first appear in your mind. You must make a conscious effort to change your thinking around at the immediate time these negative thoughts appear.

The secret to reframing your thoughts is to use a go to phrase like, “turn it around” or “the best is yet to come”. You can also have a happy memory waiting on the sidelines in your mind to use to immediately replace this negative thinking.

Another secret to being your own Superhero is to only keep the thoughts that make you stronger. Fill the folders in your mind with super powerful words. The idea is not to magnify the negative but to shine a light on the positive.

Make sure your go to words are ones that you would use to describe a Superhero. Use words like reliable, strong, capable, resourceful, thoughtful, kind, brave, courageous, confident and persistent to name a few.

“A bird in a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not in the branch but her wings. Always believe in yourself.” Tiny Buddha

So find your wings, or use a cape, and soar towards your goals. If that does not work than be sure to let your positive thoughts carry you to where you desire to be.
Start today and go be your very own Superhero.
